Elks City of Castries Co-operative Credit Union is proud to celebrate the academic achievements of young members of its community through its annual scholarship and bursary programme.

This year, the Credit Union extends congratulations to Aiden Gustave and Damian Edwin, recipients of its Secondary School Scholarships. Aiden will attend Castries Comprehensive Secondary School, while Damian will attend St. Mary’s College. Each scholarship provides $1,500 per academic year to assist with the students’ educational expenses.

In addition to the scholarships, the Credit Union is pleased to award six bursaries to other deserving students. These bursaries will help offset the cost of essential educational needs, including books, uniforms, and tuition.

As recipients and ambassadors of the Credit Union, the students are encouraged to uphold the values of discipline, excellence, and integrity throughout their academic journeys.

The initiative reflects the Credit Union’s commitment to Credit Union Principle #5: Education, Training and Information. Through its continued investment in education, Elks Credit Union seeks to empower members and their families, while helping to create greater opportunities for the next generation.
